Important Hetalia facts, anyone? I'm bored~ xD

So, I'm like, incredibly bored. So, I (Being the no-life and Hetalia obsessed fangirl I am~) would like to share some Hetalia knowledge that most of you probably already know, but I have come across a few that don't. SO, for those of you who don't know a lot about Hetalia, I'd be more than happy to share some facts I picked up from various wiki's, and the actually web-comic itself. ^ 3 ^

Part 1: Hair Curls/E-zones

I feel as though the hair curls  and E-zones thing is the most important matter to discuss with people. I can't even tell you how many times people have gone up to me (Not literally, but you catch my drift) and said "America's cowlick is his E-zone." I usually just say, "Oh~ I didn't know that!", when in reality, I knew full well that this was not the case.

Also, I'd like to point out that some Authors here on DeviantART like to use the 'Hair Curl E-zone' thing to make their writing more fun. I'm totally fine with that. I'm not trying to bash on anyone's creativity. I'm just pointing this out to people who don't know, or those who seem to think they're Himaruya and can decide who's hair is an E-zone, and who's isn't. As long as you KNOW they aren't actually their E-zones, and it's only to make the writing more interesting, it's fine with me. xD Anywho, let's get this started...

Italy & Romano's Curl

Italy and Romano's curls... Everyone knows about them, so I'll be brief. When Italy and Romano's curls are pulled, plucked, stroked - whatever, it gives them... Er... Sexual pleasure, I guess. XD It's their E-zones, and they are the only two countries with curls that act as E-zones!!! Seborga's curl is also said to function as his E-zone apparently. I'm not surprised, considering he's part of Italy. XD So Italy, Romano, and Seborga's curls are all E-zones!

America's Cowlick

It's a cowlick. Not to be confused with an 'Ahoge'. (Ahoge = Italy, Romano, Austria, Canada, blah, blah, blah.) America has a cowlick. And his cowlick represents Nantucket. Nantucket is an island off the coast of Massachusetts, and is south of Cape Cod, and east of Martha's Vineyard. It's a popular resort now, but it used to be a whaling center during the 18th and 19th century. Perhaps Himaruya made America's cowlick represent Nantucket because we needed whales, or something. You've all seen that episode of Hetalia, right? The one where America gets that pet whale from Japan? XDD Good times... Anyway, Nantucket is NOT America's E-zone. Don't let anyone fool you. Himaruya said nothing about Nantucket being America's E-zone in the web-comic. (At least, as far as I am aware of...XD) Moving on~

Austria's Ahoge

Yes! Austria has one. It's right where is hair parts, or whatever. You guys have seen it. It's kinda hard to miss... XD Anyway, that strand of hair represents Mariazell. Mariazell is a small city in Austria. That's the important thing you know. It is NOT his E-zone. I'll get to his E-zone soon... Austria's E-zone

Bwahaha! I was shocked when I first found this one out. The mole on Austria's face acts as his E-zone. Crazy, right? Write a Fanfiction about that! But seriously, it's true. Austria's mole is his Erogenous Zone...

South Korea's Ahoge...thingy...

Hahaha~ You guys should have seen this coming. It really irritates me when I'm RPing as Korea, and then someone pulls his curl. Like, thanks. Jerk. -.-'' But, anyway. Korea's curl represents his 'Korean Spririt', which is why Himaruya often draw a 'face' in it. The face is usually happy, because Korea is a happy person. Now, I know I've seen it somewhere, and I looked online, but no one has said anything. I remember reading somewhere in Himaruya's webcomic, that Korea's curl also represented Seoul. For those of you who don't know, (Which is surprisingly a lot of you TT^TT) Seoul is the capital of South Korea, and is pronounced like the word 'Soul'. Because of this, Himaruya made a (kinda) funny pun, that if you were to pull Korea's curl, he'd die, because you'd be pulling his Seoul. Get it? Anyway, the important thing about the curl, is that you don't pull it. Unless you want to kill Korea. xDD

Norway's (floating) Curl~

Norway's curl. His is my favorite, (Next to Korea's, of course xD). Norway's floating hair curl, is also not an E-zone. His curl represents the Fjords. Yup. If you're wondering why it floats, Himaruya stated that, Norway seemed like a whimsical character, and therefor, had a floating curl. I don't know why there's a floating circle above it, though... xD

Other characters such as Canada, Greece, Turkey, Ancient Rome, Australia, etc, etc, that have curls as well, don't have any information about them. Himaruya did joke about Greece's curl being an E-zone, but it was only a joke. Only. A. Joke. I've also seen fans write about Greece's curl being pulled, and he'll meow or purr. I think that's super creative, and hilarious, and I may use it in my writing as well... As for the others, like Canada, I'm not sure. I don't think Himaruya has said anything about his curl... I have heard that the end of Taiwan's hair curl is in the shape of the cursive character for the first letter of her name. But, who knows.

Part 2: Things on Characters that Represent Parts of Their Country~

America's Glasses

I'm pretty sure a lot of people know about America's glasses, but just in case, I'll talk about it. Himaruya stated in the Webcomic that America's glasses represent the state Texas. Don't ask me why, because I have NO idea. I assume it's because Texas is a well-known state in America... But, who knows. I mean, why not make the glasses represent California, or New York. Y'know... States that are even more well-known than Texas. Maybe it's because America is seen as a cowboy, but I don't even know. Now I'm just rambling. XD

Hungary's Hair Pin

The flower hair-pin on the right-side of Hungary's hair, represents Lake Balaton. And I'll tell you what, I'm looking at a picture of it, and it is absolutely beautiful... Ukraine's...Boobs...XD

Ukraine's chest simply represents her role as a major agricultural nation. That's all, really. XD _{^{I want to grope her...}}

France's Beard

Part 3: Other Random (and important) Facts~

Hong Kong's Dialect.

I've read a few Hong Kong Fics, and I was surprised to see that a LOT of people don't do his dialect correctly. I was like, "Really? I'm shocked. O.O" But, anyway. For those of you who don't know, Hong Kong actually talks a bit like Poland. He talks like a 'teenage boy' or sorts, so his dialect s try similar to Poland's. So, just for you people who don't know, and for those of you who plan on writing for Hong Kong, just know that he says the word 'like' a lot. Like, a lot, a lot! XD

Random Nordics Facts...

The Nordics are my favorite family in Hetalia, and I often obsess over them. Because of this, I harbor a lot of knowledge of them in mein awesome brain. XD Anyway...

Random Nordic fact #1

I have the Nordics heights memorized in my mind, from shortest, to tallest.

Ovbiously, Sweden is the tallest, followed by Denmark, then Norway, then Iceland, and lastly, Finland. Yeah, poor Finny is the shortest. But the funny thing is, Iceland is the youngest of the Nordics. He's also the most mature, and my favorite Nordic, for some reason. I don't know why Iceland's my favorite, to be honest. xD It's not like I'm obsessively in love with him, I just think we'd get along well. *Shrugs* Who knows.

Random Nordics Fact #2

It is said that out of all the Nordics, Finland suffered the most. Poor Finland. It's strange, though, considering he's the most joyful out of all of them. Unless you count a drunk Denmark...

Random Nordics Fact #3

Apparently, Sweden has an incredibly playful personality, but never gets to show it considering he's incredibly intimidating as well. He's also gay for Finaland, sadly. ;A;

Also, Norway is very shy around strangers. He's so adorable. XD But apparently, once he's around you long enough, he'll open up right away and won't be so shy. Now I want to meet Norway. TT^TT

Iceland~ Muahahaha~ I love Iceland's personality the best. it always makes me want to write a lemon about him. *Cough* Aaanyway... Iceland, while on the outside, is the most modest, and mature of the Nordics, is said to be 'hot-blooded' and 'passionate' on the inside. Maybe this is why he'r my favorite...? XD Who knows.

Anyway, just some random facts I picked up on from obsessing over the series. I thought I'd share, since I know a lot of people who don't know as much about it.

So bored... I'll probably work on my 'Pranktalia' story, along with my Prussia lemon, and an Iceland lemon I've been wanting to write for a while...

Also... Who thought of the name Mathias Khøler for Denmark? That wasn't even on the list of possible names for him by Himaruya. I'd love to know who came up with it... XD
